Delivering successful media training is about experience and we have decades of expertise in television and radio broadcasting. That means that we know what the news media is looking for, the angles they are likely to come from, the curved ball questions, and the formula for delivering answers that will keep you, the interviewee, on the front foot.
Our lead tutor Michael Macmillan is former Middle East Correspondent for BBC TV. He has also been a correspondent for ITN’s News Ten, Anchor of Sky World News Today and presenter of Prime Time for RTE in Dublin. He has interviewed hundreds of people including Presidents and Prime Ministers and has trained captains of industry, civil servants, doctors, politicians, judges, ambassadors, and many others in the skills to deliver a successful broadcast interview.
MICHAEL MACMILLAN: FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT
Our tutor Jane Veitch, former News Editor and Presenter of ITV Daybreak News Northern Ireland and Scotland is an expert in carrying out media interviews and the use/effect of social media in a news environment.
She assists Michael in the delivery of incisive, memorable and informative media training sessions.
